That Rabbit Game 3(DS) is a 3DS-specific port of a game previously made by thp, kind of a inverse duck hunt where you have to move the flying rabbit head in front of the crosshairs and lose coins.
The original version has 3D rendering on an old version with anaglyph rendering for PCs and side-by-side stereoscopic 3D that some 3DTVs support. This feature has now been extended to work on the 3DS, adjustable with the 3D slider.
The game also makes use of the accelerometer in the 3DS for movement, this was also a feature of an earlier version of the game for smartphones. And finally there are also some new sound effects.
Installation
Available in 3DSX and CIA formats.
- CIA - Install the .cia with the CIA manager of your choice.
- 3DSX - Use the .3dsx provided with the Homebrew Launcher.
User guide
Story
You are still a kleptomanic rabbit head with wings. And in great danger of becoming extinct.
After stealing the precious gold coins from a dinosaur (it's a T-Rex!), you fly over small hills and have the sudden urge to get shot and lose your coins while avoiding death by stone or arrow.
How to play
Hover in font of the target.
The rabbit will drop a coin after getting shot.
The goal is to lost 10 coins in 90 seconds.
The game is over if the rabbit gets hit by a stone or time runs out.
Controls
A - Start game (menu), Flap wings (in game)
Tilt device - Steer left/right
Start - Exit
