Meteorite is a 2D shoot'em up game created by John P. Shay and published by Solar Software. Originally named Asteroyds for the Commodore VIC-20, it was later released as Meteorite for the Commodore 16.

The game has been rewritten by Rajcsányi László for the GameBoy and GameBoy Color using GB-Studio.

Installation

Available in CIA format for the Nintendo 3DS virtual console.

Install the .cia file with a title manager of your choice.

User guide

Your ship is lost in a meteorite field, your only hope is to blast them with your lasers.

You can play in two different game styles. In hard mode: Steer your ship with the thrust button it will move in the direction it is pointing. But be careful! If your ship is standing diagonally, you can't fire. Rotate your ship with the left and right keys.

In the easy operator mode, you can control your ship with the arrow keys. No diagonal movement here.

You have 3 ships per game.

Easy mode:

Start - Start the game

D-Pad - Move

A - Fire

Hard mode:

Start - Start the game

Left/Right - Move left/right

Up or B - Thrust

A - Fire
