HODEX is an Xbox port of hode,[1] it is a reimplementation of the engine used by the game Heart of Darkness originally developed by Amazing Studio.[2]
This port is based on the Heart of Darkness Engine (HODE) v0.2.8 by Gregory Montoir.
Installation
You must include your own data files from the Windows or PS1 version of the game to play.
Copy all the data files in the HODEX folder (only Windows version data files are tested):
- hod.paf (hod_demo.paf, hod_demo2.paf)
- setup.dat
- _hod.lvl
- _hod.sss
- _hod.mst

Known issues
There are some minor graphical issues, but the game is fully playable.
Seems to only work with widescreen mode enabled. If this does not work, try the updated version by Rocky5.
