This is an early port of Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead to the 3DS. The game is also known as C:DDA, which is an open world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world.

The only content that had been removed from the version is the necropolis map generation and the map size has been decreased to 9x9.

Installation

Available in .3dsx format.

Place the data/ and cataclysm-dda/ folders in the root of your SD-card or inside Citras sdmc/ folder.

Launch the cataclysm-tiles.strip file with Citra, or try it on your 3DS.

User guide

C:DDA is a post-apocalyptic turn-based survival RPG that challenges players to not only survive, but battle a wide range of zombies and other terrifying creatures that threaten their lives.

While some may label it as a "zombie game", Cataclysm has much more to offer. Players must battle to survive in a harsh and persistently generated world, struggling to scavenge the remains of a dead civilization for essentials such as food, equipment, and possibly even a vehicle with a full tank of gas to make a quick escape.

Along the way, players must also fight off various powerful creatures, including zombies, giant insects, killer robots, and other deadly monstrosities. They must also compete with others who are just like themselves, vying for the same resources.

Compatibility

Runs on Citra emulator. Due to the limited amount of RAM available on the target platform and the huge amount of content included in the newer versions, starting with 0.D was the best option.

You can also try it on a New 3DS (tested on N3DS XL). It won't work on O3DS because of it's memory advantage in comparison to the Old 3DS model. Taken in consideration that some memory stays reserved for system use.

Changelog

3ds_prev_v1

  • Expect crashes.
  • Missing keybindings.
  • Only a preview not seriously playable.
