Wrong Road GBA is a retro style racing game.
It was submitted to the GBA Jam 2021.
Features
- Mode 4 with sprites.
- lz77 compressed mode 4 images.
- Single sound channel effects.
- Pause menu with sleep option (press L+R+START to wake up).
- VBlankIntrWait().
- Appended binary assets.
- 256 color mode, but I should probably have gone for 16 color mode.
Installation
Uunzip the contents of the executable download.
And sent the multiboot binary to your gameboy advance.
User guide
Avoid opposing racers for as long as you can.
Controls
Start - Continue from the title screen
Left/Right - Move the racer into a new lane
Start - Pause menu
Up/Down - Choose options from the pause menu
A - Confirm option from the pause menu
