Wagic, also named as Wagic, The homebrew!?, is an Heroic Fantasy battle game reproducing the rules of a famous Collectible trading card game on PSP. In Wagic, you fight against an AI with your deck of cards. Each time you win, you earn credits to buy more cards in the shop, and improve your deck.

It was heavily based on the strategy card game Magic the Gathering, orginally created by wololo and had been involved with the development until version 0.18.6, since then it has become an open-sourced community driven project. This game is available on multiple platforms other than PSP: IOS, Linux, Windows, Android, Iphone and Meego (for some Nokia).

It was one of the contest entries for the NEO Spring Coding Compo 2009 (PSP Game) and ITA's Winter Developers Contest (Game, 1st place).

Features

  • Supports 25,279 unique cards from various sets.
  • Modify rules, create new game modes, or design entirely new card sets.
  • Cross-Platform Support.

User guide

In Wagic, you play as a wizard against the CPU with your army of minions.

You start the game with a small collection of cards (symbolizing creatures and spells), and as you win battles against the AI, you earn credits that allow you to buy more cards and build more powerful decks.

As you play, you unlock cards and new game modes. Wagic features several thousands of cards in the official release, with extra contents that allows you to customize and also create your own cards and mods.

A detailed Manual for Wagic is available here.

Extra content such as new cards, themes and utilities can be found in the official forum.
