A mod that backports the ~5000 new English voice clips from the PC versions of Cold Steel I & II back to the Vita versions.
Please note that even though the data.psarc file is included, the game will not play without access to the original eboot.bin. You must have a real game cartridge/digital version/backup copy to use this mod.
Installation
Requirements:
- A hacked PS Vita with HENkaku. Visit Vita Hacks Guide if you don't know how to hack your Vita.
- Make sure you have at least 3 GB of free space per game on your memory card/SD card.
- rePatch plugin.
To install the patch, just copy the included rePatch folder inside the archive(s) to the root of your memory card.
(Optional) If you have the games installed on your memory card, you can can delete their original data.psarc files to save space, since they are already in the rePatch folder.
If you want to do the optional step, go into app\PCSE00786\ for Cold Steel I, and app\PCSE00896\ for Cold Steel II. This will save you almost 6 GB of redundant data between the two games.

Q. Will this mod work on the European versions?
It should, but you would need to rename the folders inside the rePatch folder to match the IDs of the European versions:
- PCSB00866 (Cold Steel I).
- PCSB01016 (Cold Steel II).
Q. Do the games need to be updated for this mod to work?
This mod will work regardless of the game's current version.
This is why there is a patch folder next to where the data.psarc is, so it can override certain files provided by the official patches.
Q. Are any of the redone/extended voice clips included in this mod?
All voice clips were converted, so any of the original voice clips that were redone/extended for the PC version are like that in the mod too.
