The Horrible Demon IV is a side scrolling action RPG that combines elements from previous Horrible Demon games on the Game Boy.
The game was entered into Gambit Studios' Freedom 2001 GameBoy Developer's Competition (grand prize).
User guide
There are lots of different moves and attacks, but they're all explained in the game.
Controls
Left/Right - Move left/right, Press twice to run
Down - Crouch
Start - Pause
A - Jump
B - Attack, Talk
Up - Open a door
Special moves:
Down+A - Slide under low obstacles, Go Down
Up+A - Grab a branch while jumping, Jump on the branch
Down while running - Roll attack
Down, Down+A - Handstand
