Port of Sonic Mania for PS Vita based on a decompilation project of the game and its engine.
Installation
Without assets from the official releases, this decompilation will not run. You can get the official release of Sonic Mania (Plus) from:
- Windows - Steam, The Epic Games Store, Origin.
- Switch - eShop.
- PS4 - The Store.
- Xbox One - The Store.
How to install Sonic Mania Vita:
- Install the VPK.
- Make the folders ux0:data/Mania and ux0:data/Mania/mods.
- Copy Data.rsdk from your Sonic Mania install to ux0:data/Mania.
- Copy Game.suprx and Settings.ini to ux0:data/Mania.
- Copy modconfig.ini to ux0:data/Mania/mods.
- (It is also recommended to install the UltrawideMania mod, as it fixes various level bugs that occur when widening the screen. It also fixes the Press Garden boss from softlocking the level.)
How to install Mod + Essential Mods:
- Add/Extract the mods you want to use into in ux0:data/Mania/mods.
- Inside of each individual mod folder, look for mod.ini
- Open mod.ini and make sure the line TargetVersion=5 is in the file. If not, add it after Version. Example:
Version=v3.01 TargetVersion=5
Forced Integer Scaling Mode (letterbox):
- In Settings.ini, hange the line forceIntegerScaling=0 to forceIntegerScaling=1
- Change the line pixWidth=424 to pixWidth=480
- Change the line maxPixWidth=424 to maxPixWidth=480
- Install and activate the UltrawideMania mod from here.

Known issues
- Special stages are still slow. Still too slow. Very, very, veryyyy slow.
- Not really an issue, but this won't be released with Plus support. This is intentional as an anti-piracy measure, as there is no real way to check for ownership. The only way to obtain Plus support is by building this yourself. There is a guide here.

- Trophy Support
- The game now features all of the achievements as unlockable trophies from the official game, with an added Platinum Trophy **for those of you who want to go all out. All trophy ranks have been adjusted to reflect actual difficulty.
- In order to use trophies, you will need to install the NoTrpDrm Vita by Rinnegatamante.
