Retro Game Challenge is the name given to the English localized version of the Japanese television program Game Center CX, wherein the host, middle-aged comedian Shinya Arino plays retro games to the best of his ability, attempting to beat them within (usually) one day.
This is a patch for the first spin-off video game inspired by the series, which was localized and released in North America. The original Japanese release of the game includes voice work by Shinya Arino himself, including many of his catch phrases from the show. However, the English release replaced all the audio with new English narration and voice clips, removing some of the charm for fans of the original show.
This patch replaces all the audio with the audio from the original Japanese release, so you can enjoy playing the many minigames in this title while being cheered on by Arino himself.
