Pokémon Light Platinum (not to be confused with Pokémon Platinum) is a rom hack of Pokémon Ruby.
Features
- New Regions - Zhery and Lauren.
- New Gym Leaders and Elite Four.
- New rivals.
- Pokemon from Johto, Kanto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova.
- All Legendary Pokemon.
- New sprites and tiles.

Notes about Light Platinum+:
- The Plus version is a mod by LCCoolJ95 that adds the Physical/Special split along with new Pokemon and moves. It has a bug at the last event (the World Championship) which prevents you from progressing.
- If you want to play it, you can load your save file into the final version (just rename the .sav file), and then load it back into the Plus version after you've become the champion.
The patches are in IPS format, you can use either the online patcher, Lunar IPS or Floating IPS to apply the patch.
User guide
Story
You wake up in a mystery place and witness a fight between Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. You assume it's just a nightmare, but where are you why is this happening? When the dream ends, you appear to be in your house and you get a message that the Professor need your help.
Only you know the secret language of Alpha, a language passed down by your father. It is the only key to solving the problem. Did that dream have any effect on your world? Get a Pokémon then travel the regions of Zhery and Lauren to save the pokemon world.
