Newer: Falling Leaf is an autumn-themed hack/mod of the original New Super Mario Bros for the Nintendo Wii, changing up the stages and landscape drastically.

It includes 8 new levels in a variety of themes. Newer: Falling Leaf uses lots of assets from Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, and may even be considered as a mini sequel to it.

Installation

Follow the installation guide from the official website, it will lead you through the process of setting up Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii.

User guide

Newer: Falling Leaf takes place all in one World, but this World is divided up into three other worlds.

  • Unknown Island - A grassy, forested area with not too much in it.
  • Freezefall Hill - A snowy area taking place on a hill at night.
  • Everbrown Woods - The main area of Newer: Falling Leaf. It takes place in a fall-themed forest, much like Goldwood Forest from Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii.
