Port of Mastermind for the Game Boy. The game mechanics are the same as the original table game, but in portable form without the worry about falling pegs everywhere.
User guide
Game settings
Before starting a game, an option menu will appear, which you can modify various parameters for the game.
- Game mode a is simpler, the hints pegs correspond in position with the numbers/colors pegs,
- Game mode b is harder, it rearrange them without any link between them.
In game screen use left or right to select a peg then up or down to changed their value. Press A to advance and hint pegs will appear near the code entered.
How to play
In mode A, a black peg indicates that the corresponding peg is found in the secret code and is in the right position, while a white one indicates that the peg is in the code but in the wrong position.
In mode B, the meaning is the same, but the positions are not linked anymore. You have a limited number of attempts, which is listed in the bottom right of the screen. The number of rounds needed to win is displayed at the bottom right, and the current status of both players is shown at the top.
You win a round if you guess the secret code correctly or lose if you have used all your attempts.

Left/Right - Select a peg
Up/Down - Change their value
A - Advance
Start - Pause
