A homebrew game for the original Game Boy handheld console made by madpew during 12-a-year 2020.
It is an open source project that aims to provide an easy to understand assembly example that bridges the gap between simple "hello world" examples and complex games.
Installation
This game is playable in the browser or by downloading the ROM on itch.io.
The ROM file can be used with an emulator such as BGB. For full colorization a GBC bootrom/console is required.
User guide
Those sneaky cats are trying to invade your backyard and are throwing stones at you.
Defend yourself and show them who's the boss. Catch the stones and throw them back.
Controls
Left/Right - Move
A - Catch
B - Throw
Select - Help (on title screen)
Start - Start the game
