A Nintendo Switch homebrew app to change the color of the Joy-Con controllers.
Comes bundled with default themes but you can easily add your own.
Installation
Copy the JC-color-swapper directory to sdmc:/switch.
User guide
Add custom themes
You can add custom themes by editing profiles.json.
You can add new entries and modify existing ones, just make sure you use the same formatting (hexadecimal values of length 6).
Use Joy-Con profile generator to generate new profile and add them to profiles.json.
Troubleshooting
The joycons need to be physically connected to the switch. You might need to undock/dock them to see the changes.
Alternatives
- Joycon Toolbox by CompSciOrBust, you can change the Joy-Con colours on the Switch.
- AIO Switch Updater by HamletDuFromage, it offers a more polished experience and the ability to change Pro Controllers colors.
