Iron Hike is a side-scroller platformer created by Mikael Andersson in 2000.
It was a contest entry for Bung's 3rd Amateur GameboyTM Format Games Coding Competition (2nd place).
User guide
If you get 100 coins you get an extra live.
You lose a life when the energy is at the bottom.
There is a life item and a energy item also.
There is some music and sound effects.
They play at a pretty low volume so if you don't hear anything turn the volume up.
Controls
D-Pad - Move the Player
A - Jump
B - Shoot FireBalls (if you got the fireball item)
Start - Pause, Start Game

Compatibility
It runs almost perfectly on NOCASH emulator some other emulators have problems with the status box in the form that the enemies get displayed over it instead of under it.
Tested on a real Gameboy Color and works perfectly on it.
