Glory Hunters is an action-adventure RPG for the Nintendo Game Boy where you seek glory points by obtaining achievements.
Originally developed for Game Boy Competition 2021, a Kickstarter campaign for the game was launched in 2022.

User guide
Welcome to Glorianta, a land where everybody seeks glory.
Glory points are the main currency and they are mainly used to open your path in this world. You can upgrade your health, buy items and hire people to help you on this quest.
Gather materials and aid the townsfolk around Glorianta to earn even more glory points, and be careful how you spend them because the next achievement may become harder to get.
Attempt to save the land by awakening one of four gods (upcoming chapters in full game), meet many characters across the land, and cleanse the shameful monsters that lurk within the dungeons.
Become a glory hunter and remember that pain is temporary but glory is eternal!
Story
A long time ago, a war between gods took place on this land. Their descendants marched down to conquer the world, and the war lasted for a millennium. Heroes rose to fight and bathed in glory during their adventures. Their names became legend, and their feats were always remembered.
Eventually, the gods decided to take a deep slumber; so that the races of the land could finally find peace. They merged as a single voice, leaving their bodies behind as empty vessels.
Nowadays, knights and warriors around the world make journeys from their homeland to the ancient gods' vessels seeking their blessing in a time of need; whenever their people suffer famine, natural disasters strike the land, or sickness attacks their bodies: an adventurer is sent on this quest. These courageous heroes are called Glory Hunters.
Fire has lit the sky, announcing the last days of the world. A massive object is about to strike the earth when you hear: “Rise, hunter... Wake up one of our vessels so we can stop the impending doom...”
