Crash Nitro Kart is an racing game for the Game Boy Advance. This hack translates the Japanese release of Crash Nitro Kart for the Game Boy Advance back into English, using the game’s original English script as reference. This was achieved by using the original English alphabet that’s still present in the Japanese release.
Nearly every text string in the game has been translated back into English, save for some text related to communication errors in the game’s multiplayer mode. This means the game’s entire single player campaign and all side content related to it can be enjoyed without any language-related complications.

To apply the patch, you can use either the online patcher, Lunar IPS or Floating IPS.

Version 3.5
- Version 3.5 adds an alternative patch that restores the US/EU Title Theme (NITRO_KART_BCNJ00_(US_Theme).bps). In addition, the patches have been updated to be in .bps format. There’s no reason to re-download this if you’re comfortable with the Japanese theme being used in the Main Menu and Title Screen.

- Restores the Vicarious Visions logo from the EU/US release (which was replaced with a static image in the Japanese version), the animated English title screen, as well as the English TNT Crate/Nitro Crate items.
