User guide

Story

We are under attack! You must grab your helmet and jump in your jet and take out marked targets and help protect our land sea and air. Fly through 15 exciting stages while avoiding missiles and destroying the enemy.

Gameplay

At the beginning of each stage there will be an objective printed on your screen to tell you which enemies you need to destroy.

In the upper right hand corner tells you how many enemies you have killed and how many total you have to kill before you can advance to the next level.

In the upper left hand side of the screen is your current score. Watch out though because the enemies will fire missiles at you and the farther along in the game you are, the more missiles that will be fired.

You start the game with 5 lives, and every time you get hit by a missile, you lose one. The game is over when you lose all your lives and the end screen will show you how many of each target you have taken out.

Scoring:

  • Jet flying away from you - 200 points.
  • Jet flying towards you - 100 points.
  • Tank - 1000 points.
  • Aircraft Carrier - 1000 points.
  • Completing a stage - 10000 points.

You can also earn an extra jet for every 50000 points you receive.

Tips

Bogey 6 is a difficult game, but with some practice you be an ace. The missile is your only cause of death, it would wise to know how they act in the game and learn how to dodge them.

Tanks and Carriers are tough. You really have to ""ride"" one of these vehicles to take them out, and even then they might get away. One thing to try is to wait for one of these to appear closer to jet so you don't have to chase it. Also watch out for the missiles.
