This is a full English translation + HQ movie patch for Attack on Titan 2 (進撃の巨人 2) by MODman01 and Mxscr.

Installation

Requirements:

Attack on Titan 2 + Update 1.05 (PCSG01102).
rePatch plugin.

For the translation patch:

Copy the PCSG01102 folder to ux0:rePatch/.
As the LINKDATA_A.BIN is a big file (900+ MB), you may want to delete the original one stored in ux0:/app/PCSG01102/Linkdata/.

Optional HQ Movie patch:

Extract archive to ux0:rePatch/.
The files are about 3.3GB, but you can remove 1.2GB of the original MP4 stored in ux0:/app/PCSG01102/File/Movie/ to save space.

Known issues

Dialogue boxes were sometimes empty, due to script length causing an issue. This has been resolved by renaming skills, items and missions. If you don't want it, replace the LINKDATA_REGION_JP.BIN from Modman01's version of the patch.

About the remaining in game graphical issues: In the Titan research facility, there is sometime a minor glitch with the skills name and description, but nothing impossible to read.

Merge MODman01's English patch and the updated menus patch into one.
Complete replacement of the font, which make a lot of lines way more readable. Sometimes, the text will be unnecessary fat, but it's the price to pay to read the other small-printed dialogue. If you don't want the text upgrade, replace the LINKDATA_A.BIN file with my 1st version of the patch.
Bugfix in selection of the mission, and skills display. Dialogue boxes were sometimes empty, due to script length causing an issue. This has been resolved by renaming skills, items and missions. If you don't want it, replace the LINKDATA_REGION_JP.BIN from Modman01's version of the patch.
Updated to game version v1.05 properly. The should resolve a lot issues, such as: command buttons not visible, blank dialog boxes, script mixed between characters. Of course you must use the 1.05 update of AOT2.
More stuff translated. Picture during the tutorial missions. Places headlines, some untranslated files I found, online stuff.

Menus and more 2020/09/22 (by Mxscr)

Improved the patch from the previous version. The 3 most important files for the translation are:
- Linkdata_region_jp.bin [10 Mb] - All the texts, but also graphics to be translated. Majority is already patched by MODman01.
- Linkdata_A.bin [893 Mb] - Most of assets of the game.
- Linkdata_patch_000.bin [13 Mb] - Patch 1.05 correcting some textures.
This update brings focus on the two other files, it adds translation for menus, tabs, popups and icons without issue. This is the complementary patch to MODman01's patch.
There is also an optional HQ movie patch, it is a re-conversion of the cutscenes from the PC version in 1920x1080 resolution, to 960x544 for PS Vita.
- Higher bitrate > higher quality, higher filesize. The difference is quite noticeable.
- It's 3.3 Gb big, but you can remove 1.2 Gb of the original MP4 stored in "ux0:/app/PCSG01102/File/Movie".

English Patch 2020/09/05 (by MODman01)

This contains a lot of stuff translated into English (textual extraction and replacement) for a large portion of the game.
Menus and additional missions from 1.05 update are not translated.
