This is an early demo attempting to bring the Animal Crossing experience from the GameCube to the Game Boy. Inspired by MortMort.
It was entered into Game Boy Competition 2021.
Features
- RTC (using software).
- Different faces (you can use a GameCube face guide).
- 1 town with 25 acres.
- Custom sprites submitted by: redoctorok, PixelMarshal, and Elvies.
- Name your character "Peet" with the male gender, and when rover asks how much money you have say "Yeah!" to access Peet the Pirate (done by redoctorok).
- 8 unique fully functional villagers.
- Keyboard by SodoDev.
- Working Bell Counter (can't get bells at the moment, but it works).
