This is a translation mod for the retail version of the Cave Story+ for use with LayeredFS.
This game mod restores the Aeon Genesis translation to the latest version of Cave Story+ on the Nintendo Switch, making it a definitive option for experiencing the game with another perspective.
Installation
The latest 1.12 version is fully compatible with the v1.3 update of Cave Story+ and no longer has the game-breaking bug from Grasstown in the Malco room.
Installation should be drag-and-drop for Atmosphère users: /atmosphere/contents/{titleID}.
If you are using a Japanese version of the game, please be sure to fix the data for your specific version by moving the data folder to the other TitleID folder.
If you are using an emulator, note that Cave Story's root directory uses the data folder. Don't forget the mod name and romfs folder are also required.
