FakeName Changer is a PS Vita homebrew utility that lets users rename LiveArea bubble titles directly from the Vita without manually editing each game's PARAM.SFO. It reads installed bubbles from app.db, lets you edit names, creates backups, and requires a reboot/apply refresh so the new titles appear safely on the home screen after restart.
Features
- Rename PS Vita LiveArea bubble titles
- Reads installed bubbles from
ur0:shell/db/app.db - Does not modify PARAM.SFO
- Rename multiple bubbles before rebooting
- Automatic backup creation
- Restore previous backup
- Home button lock after first save
- Start button applies changes by rebooting
- Clean black/maroon themed interface
- Live time, date, and battery display
- Scroll arrows and wrap-around navigation
