MzMaker is a game created for both fun and as a way to learn more about game development. Inspired primarily by Mario Maker, the game features an interface that allows players to design their own levels and play through them.
Originally, the developer was working on a platformer game for the Nintendo 3DS. However, after realizing that building levels directly in code was tedious, the idea for MzMaker—a simple level editor and game in one—was born.
What can players expect from this prototype?
This is still a test version, so some bugs may be present, such as collision issues and a problem with background 1. The developer plans to address these issues in future updates and hopes that everyone enjoys trying out the game!
