This is a save editor for Dragon Quest VIII (3DS).

Note: Make sure to backup your save file before you start making your edits.

Features

Modify device ID.
Edit all 3 save slots.
Play time.
Gold, casino tokens.
Select alchemy pot.
Modify location (all slots) / coordinates (I think this only works on the quicksave slot).
Bag contents (includes complete inventory list inc. DLC items).
Modify hero name.
Activate/deactivate characters.
Character level, experience, HP, MP, strength, agility, resilience, wisdom, skill points.

You can refer to this post for all the items IDs if you want to edit your save manually with a hex editor instead.

To extract/restore your save, you can use a save manager homebrew, such as JK's Save Manager and Checkpoint. The file you need is named honeySave.bin.
