Dungeons 3D, also known as PSP Dungeons, is a homebrew shooting game and 3D engine for the PSP.

It started out as a dungeon/maze game, created using the author's own 3D engine (that was intended to be fast and simple, suited for the project), and was eventually emerged into a first person shooter game and have its own 3D map editor for Windows and Mac.

  • A Mac version.
  • In-game music.
  • Weapon damage/enemy life can be changed.
  • Level selection in the main menu.
  • Renders more texturecolors than the last versions (the engine can now convert to pixelformat 4444, 5650, 5551 and 8888).
  • Textures not loaded into vram are rendered much faster than in previous versions.
  • Mipmaps can be switched on/off per maptexture.
  • Now possible to install several mods parallel on the psp (Dungeons folder name can be changed).
  • A new level.

  • Player and enemies use 2 different weapon types with separate bullets.

  • Faster rendering of the 3d models.

  • The engine supports now different skins per model, so more different enemies can be rendered.

  • Capability to render some 3D models (sometimes mixed with 2D billboards), all in 60 frames per second.

  • Modified dungeons-engine so it can render bigger levels now and not only small mazes.
  • Added level 4, a simple remake of Wolfenstein 3D's first level.
  • Included some enemies, so now in this version you can actually do something.
