This is an unofficial update of Davee's Unlimited Character Version and Mac Address Spoofer. It is a spoofer (aka faker) for the information found in the XMB > Settings > System Settings > System Information.
It includes spoofing of both System Version and Mac Address. So you can personalize the XMB Information for whatever you need, including your own imaginary "8.32342 0xDEADBEEF" firmware and matching mac address.
Installation
Copy the sysconf_spoofer.prx to ms0(ef0):/seplugins/.
Add a line to vsh.txt (or create one within seplugins folder):
ms0:/seplugins/sysconf_spoofer.prx 1
For PSP Go, add this line instead:
ef0:/seplugins/sysconf_spoofer.prx 1
Create a spoofversion.txt and/or a spoofmac.txt in seplugins folder. Within these, write your hearts desire; with either ascii (normal text) or Unicode* (special characters).
Reboot your console.
Compatibility
Tested by the author on PSP-1004 6.20 HEN-D Perm.
Not tested on PSPgo memory (ef0).
