Heebie-GBs is a LSDj-based cartridge album, consists of a compilation of eerie tunes released on Halloween. It is made in a dedicated homebrew cartridge, using all new parts, and built from the ground up. Two parts have been released so far, in 2014 and 2019. Freebie-GBs is the public demo version accompanying the cartridge release.

This second installment Heebie-GBs after the 2014 edition was set to release in 2018, but the cartridge release was delayed for one year because of a software bug that caused music slowdown. The bug was eventually solved and the ROM was released as Heebie-GBs 2019/Freebie-GBs 2019. The 2019 version is recommended over the 2018 version for a better listening experience, as they're materially identical apart from the bug and including one additional track.

Ramstorm - Skeletal Longevity. (Credited in the 2018 preview ROM as Arpsonix)
Immortan - Murder by Moonlight.
Graz - Death Becomes.
Tommy Creep - Ghost Emoji.
donotrunwithpixels - Parthenogenesis.
The Other Days - Super Château Ultra.

Controls

Up/Down - Previous/Next track
Select - disable animations (intended to combat the slowdown bug in the 2018 version.)

Differences to the final 2019 release version

The 2018 version has a slowdown bug, affecting the pumpkin and skeleton scenes. This bug can be counteracted by pressing select to disable the animation.
The artist Ramstorm is credited as Arpsonix.
The track Rebb - Ken Perlin's Noise is not included in the 2018 version.
The tracks are not numbered in the player UI.
The Super Château Ultra is missing the circumflex, in other words the ^ in the French letter â.
The 2018 does not use hash collision trick to set the GBC palette and is instead shown using the standard palette if run on a GBC.
