An FTP server for the Nintendo Wii that allows you to remotely access and make changes to the SD card, USB devices, and NAND of your Wii via an FTP client. This eliminates the need to physically remove the SD card or USB device from the Wii and insert it into a computer. To use FTPii, your Wii must be connected to a WiFi network.

It is recommended to use the Filezilla client, which is free and available on multiple platforms, but any FTP client can be used.

Installation

To use FTPii, copy the ftpii/ directory to the /apps/ folder on an SD card and launch it through The Homebrew Channel, or load the boot.elf file using your preferred method (wiiload, Twilight Hack, ISO, etc.).

  • To set a password when using The Homebrew Channel, rename the apps/ftpii directory to apps/ftpii_YourPassword.
  • To set a password when using wiiload, pass an argument such as "wiiload boot.dol YourPassword".
  • To set a password remotely, use the SITE PASSWD and SITE NOPASSWD commands.

A working DVDx installation is required for the DVD features.
