4IFIR is a powerful custom firmware (CFW) for the Nintendo Switch, created by Cooler3D. It unlocks your Nintendo Switch, enabling advanced system tweaks, overclocking, performance optimizations, and features that go far beyond the official firmware and most other CFWs.
Warnings and Risks
- Advanced Features = Advanced Risks: Overclocking and voltage adjustments can damage your hardware if misused.
- No Warranty: You use 4IFIR at your own risk. The creators accept no responsibility for bricked or damaged devices.
- Clean Install Required: Not compatible with old kernel modules (“kips”)—do a fresh setup, use EmuNAND, and FAT32 format.
- Backup Data: Always back up your system and keys before installation.

- Overclocking up to values 3009 Mhz for CPU, 1612 Mhz for GPU, 3000 Mhz for RAM (the exact maximum value is individual for each console)
- Automatic undervolting/overvolting
- GOVERNOR support - reducing resource consumption when the console does not need them
- Real-time automatic display frequency adjustment (analog for VRR)
- Automatically adjusts monitor/TV frequency when playing in dock mode (Auto Frame Rate)
- Possibility to set up RAM ECO mode as an additional one
- Switch between ECO and main RAM profile in real time
- Changing display refresh rate up to 72 Hz
- Increased charging speed
- Lowering the current threshold for Official Charger
- Radical reduction of cooling system noise
- Overlay with FPS and system metrics
- An over-the-screen menu for managing the listed features in real-time
- Background FTP server
