Mario Kart 64 is a kart racing simulation game, featuring many characters of Nintendo. As the title implies, it is based off Mario Kart 64 for PSP and coded in Lua.
Features - 2 Game Modes (plus a hidden one to unlock). - 3 Cups (1 fully playable) and 6 Tracks. - 10 Characters to choose from. - Record best time for each tracks.
Installation Extracts contents into ms0:/PSP/GAME/.
User guide Cup Event Mode: 3 Cups are included with 1 being fully playable. - Mushroom Cup (playable). - Flower Cup (not yet playable). - Star Cup (not yet playable).
Race Mode: 6 Tracks in total. Can play solo or against AI opponents (2-players).
Time Trial Mode: Only available after completion of at least one cup, or use a special cheat to unlock it.
Characters that are available: - Bowser. - Donkey. - DryBones. - Luigi. - Mario. - Princess Peach. - Petey Piranha. - Toad. - Luigi. - Wario.
Controls Menu: Start - Accept Up/Down - Move through the menu
Players menu: Cross - Accept Analog - Choose player
Maps menu: Circle - Cup Event Square - Race Mode Right/Left - Choose circuit
In game: Cross - Turbo (only in Cup Event). Up/down - Move player
Compatibility This game is complatible on both 1.50, 3.xx and 4.xx Kernels.Should Work on Slims and Fat PSPs (LUAPlayerHm 7 Eboot).
Known issues This game has been tested and it works properly, though probaility is low it might freeze on some systems due to ram usage. Only 1 cup that is fully playable.
Changelog v3 - 2 Modes: Cup Event & Race. - Three Cups are included, but only one is fully playable: -- Mushroom Cup (Luigi's raceway,Moo Moo farm, Koopa Troopa Beach, Kalimario Desert). -- Flower Cup (not yet playable, will be added into the last release). -- Star Cup (not yet playable, will be added into the last release). - Race Mode: 6 tracks are available, in a solo or a two players race mode. - 10 Characters are available for playing. - The playing time was increased.
