The BOTW Randomizer is a mod developed by Waikuteru for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It introduces a randomization mechanic to the game, significantly increasing replay value and unpredictability in gameplay.
The Randomizer Cycle - [List of possible options in categories]
Randomizer - Spawn:
This will make enemies spawn everywhere across Hyrule - these enemies have randomized weapons too. The chosen option can be reverted.
Randomizer - Prohibition:
Will set prohibitions such as saving, warping, using shrines, eating, drinking, killing time, etc. The chosen option can be reverted.
Randomizer - Time:
The time will change on the fly which results in changing of weather, lighting and enemy behaviour (e.g. sleeping) and schedules of NPCs.
Randomizer - Environment:
Will change the environment such as setting everything on fire (e.g. Volcano Eldin), making it cold (e.g. Hebra Mountains) or hot (Gerudo Desert). Setting a specific so-called "palette" can occur too such as the Lost Woods fog (incl. music), complete darkness, sandstorm, etc.
Randomizer - Take Equipment:
One of the player's equipment will be taken out of his pouch which can result in dangerous situations and increases the excitement.
Randomizer - Money:
A random amount of rupees will be either lost or credited to the player.
Randomizer - Damage and Heal:
Can either damage or heal the player.
Randomizer - Get Item:
The player will receive an item. This can include everything such as Small Swords, Large Swords, Spears, Shields, Bows, Armor parts, Fruits, Meat, Insects, Plants, etc.
Randomizer - Warp:
Will warp the player to different spawn points. This can include warping the player to a different world too. E.g. from normal overworld to divine beast.
Randomizer - BGM:
Can activate several BGM on the overworld.
The longer the Randomizer Cycle does not trigger / choose an option, the higher the chance gets which results in a 100% chance eventually. The Cycle will never stop so there are basically unlimited permutations and combinations, additionally to the randomly placed enemies which I cannot calculate.

Changelog
v3.0.1
- Added an Easy Mode for changing the Randomizer Cycle speed for players that have trouble understanding the frame delay system. Note that you have way more options in the Advanced Mode.
- Translated the v3.0.0 & v3.0.1 content to French (Thanks to Julgane and Echocolat)!
- Made it so that the Randomizer can only give you armor parts that you currently don't have in your inventory.
- Equalized the chance for getting specific goals. Some common, non-special goals had a higher chance of occurring which was not intended.
- Removed 26 gamedata and savedata flags in coherence of the removal of impossible goals which frees up memory.
- English, French and German text updates.
- Made it so that it says "Have - Any Elixir" instead of "Have - Elixir" to avoid confusion.
- Fixed missing quest goal words in the German version (Der to Der Leuchtsteinbruch and Das to Das Moldora-Herz).
- Fixed typo in the English version (Schild Surfing to Shield Surfing and Meister of the Yiga, Kohga to Master of the Yiga, Kohga).
- Removed 13 goals that were impossible to complete (in certain situations).
- Fixed a crash that would occur when changing the Randomizer Cycle speed in Divine Beasts.
- Fixed a crash that would occur if you get warped early to Divine Beast Vah Ruta, completed it and then try to talk to King Dorephan.
- Fixed the invisible model of a special event object.
- Removed Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) language packs which resulted in Chinese text for English users sometimes.
Files v3.0.0 - CrashFix
- Fixed crashes on Switch console using v3.0.0.
v3.0.0
- You can now change the Randomizer Cycle speed (up to x30 times faster and up to x0.25 slower).
- You are now able to choose between 1-100 randomized goals, instead of 3, 6 or 9.
- There are now around 3,000 total goals, instead of 60.
- Added dynamic goals. For example, you can get Kill - x1 Bokoblin, or Kill x8 Bokoblin.
- Once all goals have been completed, a menu appears where you can select to either 1.) Go Straight to Ganon, 2.) Complete game (add Star icon to save file), 3.) Continue playing.
- It is now possible to skip the Blights at Hyrule Castle.
- The special event time now only decreases when the player is on the overworld, since the special objects only spawn there anyways.
- Moldugas can no longer spawn when being in the Hyrule Castle area to avoid terrain breaking.
- The chance for getting Key Items was increased from 1/9 (11.1%) to 1/7 (14.2%).
- The standard frame delay was increased from 24 to 30 frames (1 second) with a new system, basically same speed, but easier to calculate with.
- Removed unnecessary sounds when skipping the cutscene where you get Runes.
- Champion Abilities can no longer become disabled is the player does not have any yet.
- Slightly increased the chance for sudden, random warps.
- Slightly increased the chance to land in Divine Beasts on sudden, random warps.
- Heavily optimized the code, removed unnecessary code, used faster one that relieves the system which allows for x30 times faster Randomizer Cycle spee
- Removed around 1,200 unused Nintendo flags resulting in faster boot-up and possibly a lower chance for panic blood moons to occur.
- English and German text updates.
The best version of the BOTW Randomizer at this point in time! v2.0.3-B
- Fixed a bug where the Randomizer would only give you elixirs and no other dishes from the dishes pool.
v2.0.3
- The Randomizer can now take away cooked food from the player's inventory.
- All 12 Elixirs are now in the Randomizer pool.
- Added 2 new environmental changes into the Randomizer pool for the beginning Great Plateau cliff cutscene.
- QOL: Added a skip possibility for the first shrine completion cutscene with the Old Man.
- QOL: Added a skip possibility for the last shrine completion cutscene with the Old Man.
- Reworked rupee system. Tripled the range the Randomizer can give or take rupees from you (before: rarely reached +/-100, now +/-300). For balancing reasons, only -100 to 100 rupees are possible as long as the Great Plateau is not finished yet.
- QOL: Shrines can no longer become disabled if the Great Plateau has not been finished yet.
- QOL: In order to prevent too long sequences with poor sight, the dark environmental change with the lava sky will now also revert relatively soon just like the one without.
- QOL: The Randomizer will no longer turn on environmental changes that steadily hurt you while eating/drinking is disabled, and the other way around.
- QOL: Optimized the skip possibility for the talk with the Old Man after going down the Great Plateau tower. You can now skip earlier and it let's you play immediately after that.
- QOL: Changed the formatting of the "Item X was removed from you inventory" texts to allow faster readability what has been removed.
- General code optimization - less code for same results.
- Optimized game data storage by removing ~ 20 unnecessary flags due to general code optimization and the reworked rupee system.
- Potentially fixed tons of game-sequence-breaking bugs by preventing sudden random warps while certain main quests and minigames are active (always if Nintendo would turn off warping to keep the player in the area).
- Moldugas can no longer spawn in/near Hyrule Castle which fixes an issue where the player could not advance and had to reload their save file due to terrain breaking.
- You can longer get the Zora Set (Armor, Greaves, Helm) and the Thunder Helm more than once as they are not sellable and would fill the inventory permanently.
- Switch-only: Fixed custom Randomizer logos that were not applied in earlier Randomizer versions.
