PS4 App Lock is an utility allows you to lock your apps or games on your PS4 with a unique PIN code. It's particularly useful if you have roommates, kids, younger siblings, or anyone else you want to restrict from accessing certain apps or games on your PS4.
Here are some key features of the PS4 App Lock:
- You can create a unique PIN code.
- It allows you to lock individual games and apps.
- It shows the PEGI age ratings.
- It displays a blocked message when you try to open a locked app or game.
Please note that this utility only works on internal (HDD) content, and locks extend to options such as "deleting". A person who can't access an app due to it being locked also cannot delete the locked game or app. Deleting the PS4 App Lock doesn't remove locks on content. Even "Rebuilding Database" will not help to bypass locked games/apps. If you lose your PIN, there is a code that restarts the PIN.
