Flipper Volcano Vita is a simple port of the indie pinball game Flipper Volcano by Sokpop to the PlayStation Vita. This version is adapted for the Vita’s hardware, with some graphical features removed or simplified to ensure smooth gameplay on the handheld console. The port preserves the core pinball mechanics of the original game and allows fans to enjoy it on the go.
Notes
- Supplied is a game file as a .VPK file, and a zip file. You MUST legally own the official Flipper * Volcano game by Sokpop.
- Some graphical features had to be removed or simplified due to hardware constraints.
- Patch tested for itch version of game.
- Slight overclock can prevent frame skipping
Install instructions
You MUST legally own the official Flipper Volcano game by Sokpop.
Place "Flipper_volcano_v1.0" pc game folder inside "patcher" folder
2. Run "APPLYPATCH.bat"
3. Install "FlipperVolcano.vpk" on ps vita
4. Extract "FlipperVolcanoVITA.zip"
5. Move contents of "FlipperVolcanoVITA/Flipper_Volcano_v1.0" to "ux0:/app/FLPR12345/" on ps vita
Controls
Left joystick/D-Pad - move in menu
X - confirm, pull ball plunger, shoot barrel
Left shoulder - move left flippers
Right shoulder - move right flippers
