Sonic SMS Remake 2 PS4 is a port of the fan game Sonic SMS Remake 2 for the PS4.
Here are some highlights of the project:
- The game supports cross-play between versions PC/Android/PS4.
- The latest update fixed a major memory leak, introduced a 60 FPS mode, and made lots of other optimizations.

Known Issues
- For some reason, shaders do NOT work on the PS4. SuperSonic doesn't have the glow effect on sprites.
- When saving, the game freezes for a brief moment. This is also noticeable when exiting options or switching between memory cards.
- You can delete a memory card using the square button.
Compatibility
- Tested on FW 9.00 but should work on lower versions.
