Easy Power Menu is a homebrew application designed for the Nintendo Switch console, aiming to simplify the process of powering off or rebooting the device without the need to hold down the physical power button.

Installation

  1. Download the Application:
    • Navigate to the releases page of the Easy Power Menu repository.
    • Download the latest .nro file available.
  2. Transfer to SD Card:
    • Connect your Nintendo Switch's SD card to your computer.
    • Copy the downloaded .nro file into the "switch" directory on the SD card.
    • Safely eject the SD card and insert it back into the Nintendo Switch.

Creating a Home Screen Shortcut

To enhance accessibility, you can create a shortcut for Easy Power Menu directly on your Switch's home screen:

  1. Use an NSP Forwarder Tool:
    • Visit nsp-forwarder.n8.io or utilize any offline NSP forwarder tool compatible with the Nintendo Switch.
  2. Configure the Forwarder:
    • App Icon: Use the provided icon image from the repository.
    • App Title: Enter "Easy Power Menu" as the application title.
    • NRO Path: Specify /switch/easypm.nro as the path to the application.
