The fan-made game, Sonic SMS Remake, has been successfully ported to the PS4.
Competitive gameplay is fully functional, and there’s even the capability for cross-play between the PC, Android, and PS4 versions.

- A significant memory leak issue has been resolved, eliminating crashes.
- A 60 FPS mode has been introduced!
- Numerous other optimizations have been implemented.

Known Issues
- Labyrinth underwater does not change the character coloring and super characters won't have the glow effect. (for some reason, the shaders don't work on the PS4?!?)
- When saving, the game freezes for a brief moment. This is mostly noticeable when exiting options or switching between memory cards. BTW: You can delete a memory card using the square button.
