This is a port of DouDiZhu (Chinese: 单机斗地主), a popular Chinese card game, to the PS Vita.
User guide
The game is played by three players with one deck of cards. One player is the landlord, and the other two are the peasants, who are on the same team. The two sides compete, and the first one to play all their cards wins.
Each player gets 17 cards and there are 3 extra cards placed in the center. Players bid to become the landlord. The highest bidder (1, 2, or 3 points) becomes the landlord and takes the 3 center cards. The other two players are peasants.
The landlord plays first. Players take turns playing a higher combination of cards than the previous player or passing. If you can’t play a higher combination, you pass your turn.
Some common combinations are:
- Single - One card.
- Pair - Two cards of the same value.
- Triple - Three cards of the same value.
- Straight - Five consecutive cards.
- Bomb - Four of the same value.
- Rocket - Two jokers (beats anything else).
The game ends when either side runs out of cards. If the landlord finishes first, the landlord wins; otherwise, the two peasants win.
Controls
