Fire Emblem Engage Uncensored Patch is a text restoration mod which aims to reverse many of the localization changes introduced in the Western release, including:

• Censored or altered lines to align with the uncensored Japanese script.
• Cut romantic supports and paired endings for over a dozen characters.
• Altered support conversations, wake-up dialogues, emblem bond lines, and "memento" event text.
• Censored romantic dialogue and personality traits of characters (Rosado, Goldmary, etc).
• Localization inconsistencies.
• Certain censored words, such as "man", "woman", and "tomboy".

Installation

Instructions:

• Download the latest release (Regular or Cobalt version):
  • Regular version - Place the main folder from the .zip into your /mods directory.
  • Cobalt version - Install into Cobalt's mod folder (see the official Cobalt wiki for setup details).
• Launch the game and have text language set to "English (NA)".

Notes:

• Please backup your save files before applying the mod just in case.
• There are no visual or gameplay modifications for this patch.
• The patch should work on both emulators and CFW Switch.
• It works with or without DLC and is fully compatible with the latest update (v2.0).
• The patch only modifies files in fe_assets_message/us/usen/ and can be easily customized by deleting individual scripts.
