Break-In is a twist on the arcade game Breakout. Instead of a traditional paddle, players navigate the game by rotating blocks around the ball(s).
There are various power-up blocks throughout the game, such as adding an extra balls, blowing up surrounding blocks, or even sending the ball spinning like a whirling dervish.
The homebrew was submitted to the Fourth Creation Game Competition.
User guide
Game modes:
- Classic Mode - The basic Break-In experience.
- Standard Mode - Break-In with power-up blocks.
- Missions Mode - Challenge yourself with 10 missions, each with unique objectives.
You can also create your own Break-In game rounds using the supplied editor (Windows only).
Controls
Menus:
D-Pad - Navigate
Cross - Confirm
In game:
Left/Right - Rotate the blocks counter-clockwise/clockwise
Start - Pause menu
