Cursed Souls is a challenge run mod. Every enemy and NPC in the game is considered a "ghost". You either have to use the New ring "Cursed Ring" to damage the enemies (which also halves your HP), or get cursed, but while cursed you can't reverse hollowing or kindle bonfires. You also can't remove the ring without breaking it. Transient Curses are no longer available from shops, pickups, or enemy drops. Each enemy and some NPC's have the "White Phantom" look to them. | |||

This is a port of the Cursed Souls Mod by Sepukkake for the Switch.
Cursed Souls is a challenge run mod. Every enemy and NPC in the game is considered a "ghost". You either have to use the New ring "Cursed Ring" to damage the enemies (which also halves your HP), or get cursed, but while cursed you can't reverse hollowing or kindle bonfires. You also can't remove the ring without breaking it. Transient Curses are no longer available from shops, pickups, or enemy drops. Each enemy and some NPC's have the "White Phantom" look to them.

You need a custom firmware for this mod to work (SXOS or Atmosphere, only SXOS is tested).
Place the folder from the archive into the following folder from your SD card:

/atmosphere/title/ - SXOS
/sxos/titles/
It should end up like this /sxos/titles/01004AB00A260000/romfs/dvdbnd0.bdt.
After that, just launch the game from the custom firmware.
If you want to disable the mod, hold X while launching the game (SXOS) or rename the files to something else.
