This patch allows you to play Xenoblade Chronicles 2 with the original Japanese names. *What this is for: Replacing the primary character and place names with the original Japanese ones. *What it's not for: Fixing the heavy localization or changing every single NPC and landmark back. The focus is on fictional names used in the base game and DLC (excluding TGC), so any names with kanji will remain untouched. Likewise if the localization was mostly the same (Vandam/Vandham, Elpis/Elpys), it was not replaced. ==Installation== For this patch to work you must place the files into any installed DLC_ID folder for it to work. For a modded Switch: *Extract the zip to your SD card <code>/atmosphere/contents/{DLC_ID}/(files here)</code> *You should get something like <code>/atmosphere/contents/0100E95004039003/romfs/dbat/gb/*.dbat</code> *Ensure sure you have LayeredFS enabled when playing the game. You should see "Torna" translated to "Iira" on the Menu Screen. For Yuzu: *Extract to system folder of <code>/yuzu/load/{DLC_ID}/{Whatever name you want}/(files go here)</code> *You may have to remove and reinstall all DLC and updates for it to work on newer Yuzu builds. *The mod will not show up in the Yuzu UI because it's not under the main game ID.
