{{#seo: |title=GameBrew |title_mode=append |image=firegeargbc.png |image_alt=Fire Gear }} Fire Gear is an action-packed shoot'em up ported from the ZX-Spectrum created in about two weeks. It features the technology of dynamic tiles refresh and utilizes a custom level editor from ZX Spectrum. The background in FireGear consists of 256 sprites, each 16x16 pixels, with 1024 tiles allocated in Video RAM solely for the background. One tile bank is allocated to background graphics, while another is used for object tiles and the font. It also introduced a new music engine based on the ZX Spectrum AY-player. The game was entered into Bung Enterprises 2nd Gameboy Coding Competition (3rd place). ==User guide== You will encounter 12 different target types, include green bonus ship, meteors, mines.
