Spoofer is a plugin that has the ability to spoof your PSP System Software, Dayviewer, Mac Address to anything you want.

Developed by plum, it integrates features from both DayViewer plugin from Total_Noob as well as Davee's Unlimited Character Version and Mac Spoofer v3 plugin:

  • DayViewer - Display XMB date/clock character string in any format.
  • Davee's Unlimited Character Version and Mac Spoofer - Change the display of the System Software and MAC Address on PSP.

Installation

Copy spoofer.prx and spoofer_config.txt to the seplugins folder in the root of your Memory Stick.

Open vsh.txt (create it if you do not have it) in the same seplugins folder and add either one of the following line in respective to your device.

For PSP, append this line to the text file

ms0:/seplugins/spoofer.prx 1

For PSP Go, add this line instead

ef0:/seplugins/spoofer.prx 1

User guide

Edit display settings

You can change the display settings by editing the Config file spoofer_config.txt.

[FormatString] You can set the date and clock display characters in the upper right corner of the XMB.
[WeekNames] Allows you to set the names of the days to be used during the week.
[MonthNames] Allow you to set the names for every month.
[VersionSpoof] You can set the character string to be displayed in System Software.
[MacAddressSpoof] You can set the character string to be displayed in MAC Address.

FormatString

You can start a new line using '/' and a maximum of 255 characters can be displayed.

For example if you write

/%year-%month-%day, %batpercent%%(%batlifehour:%batlifemin)/Spoofer, plum

Will be shown on the XMB as

2013-04-29, 76%(01:58)

These are the character codes you can add/omit while writing your own FormatStrings.

%weekday Displays the day of the week described in spoofer_config.txt.
%monthname Displays the month described in spoofer_config.txt.
%year Displays the current year.
%month Displays the current month.
%day Displays the current day.
%hour Displays the current time in 24-hour display.
%hour12 Displays the current time in 12-hour display.
%min Displays the current minute.
%sec Displays the current second.
%ampm "AM" is displayed in the morning and "PM" is displayed in the afternoon.
%batpercent Shows how much battery is left.
%batlifehour Shows how many hours the battery is left.
%batlifemin Shows how many minutes the battery is left.

VersionSpoof and MacAddressSpoof

  • Format characters can be used.
  • You can disable the function by setting it to (null).
