This is a fan translation project for Yo-kai Watch 4++ (妖怪ウォッチ4++).

Installation

Note: Make sure you are using the latest updated game version.

Ryujinx Installation Instructions:

  • Download the file on the mod page, which contains two folders: 'contents' and 'exefs_patches.'
  • Right-click on Yo-kai Watch 4++, select 'Open Atmosphere Mods Directory.'
  • Navigate back two folders, where you see 'contents,' 'exefs_patches,' and 'nro_patches.'
  • Drag the 'contents' and 'exefs_patches' folders from the zip into the current directory (empty space, not over a folder).

Yuzu Installation Instructions:

  • Set up Yuzu and Yo-kai Watch 4++.
  • Download the mod file with 'contents' and 'exefs_patches' folders.
  • Right-click on Yo-kai Watch 4++, choose 'Open Mod Data Location.'
  • Create a new folder titled 'Yo-kai Watch 4++ English Fan Translation.'
  • From the zip, navigate to the 'romfs' folder and drag it into the created folder.
  • Navigate back in the zip to where it first opened ('contents' and 'exefs_patches'). Inside 'exefs_patches,' find 'YKW4pp-NoFullwidth-By-RSM.'
  • In Yuzu's directory, go back to '010086C00AF7C000.' Drag the 'YKW4pp-NoFullwidth-By-RSM' folder into this directory.
  • Inside 'YKW4pp-NoFullwidth-By-RSM,' create a new folder named 'exefs.'
  • Drag 'C7DAB27F22ACD2EDFA334AEEC30E57867AA60E59.ips' and 'readme.txt' into the 'exefs' folder.
  • Right-click on Yo-kai Watch 4++, go to 'Properties,' and make sure "Yo-kai Watch 4++ English Fan Translation" and "YKW4pp-NoFullwidth-By-RSM" are checked.

Switch Installation Instructions:

  • Download the mod file with 'contents' and 'exefs_patches' folders.
  • Locate the Atmosphere directory on your Switch's SD card; create one if needed.
  • Extract both folders from the file into your 'Atmosphere directory.'

Mod Update Instructions:

  • When an update releases, reinstall the mod with the new version, overwriting old files.
  • You can check the Mod Version No. on the title screen and cross-reference it with the latest update's version in the update log to make sure it's up-to-date.
