Wii Game Manager is a program for managing a collection of Wii games on a PC. It was previously known as Simple WBFS File Manager and has been completely rewritten and renamed to better suit its purpose. The program provides a graphical user interface for the wbfs_file utility written by Oggzee, making it more user-friendly and easy to use. It allows users to manage their Wii game collection on their PC with ease.
Requirements
- .net 3.5 and the program must be run as administrator as I did not feel like learning all about windows security just to make my program do what I want it to do. This may be looked at closer in the future to avoid confusion but it not at the top of my list of things to do
What it does:
Adding and removing files to/from WBFS formatted partitions Game cover management (display and download) List export and print functions Partition formatting to WBFS Support for multiple languages as of version 1.4 Has support for most all of the functions of wbfs_file.exe, with new functions being added over time Has preliminary support for wiitdb xml information (synopsis, players, genre, etc.)
It should be noted that the program does not support formats other than those supported by wbfs_file.exe (iso, wbfs, and WBFS partitions), nor does it download games or provide information on where to obtain them. Asking for such information will not be entertained.
This application may fail or crash if certain actions are performed, such as attempting to delete a game and then immediately processing the same game in some way. The developer is continually working on error checking to prevent these issues, but they may still occur.
Additionally, the program does not currently check for duplicate requests, and will perform the same action multiple times if instructed to do so. The developer hopes that users find the program useful and encourages users to provide feedback, suggestions, and report any bugs to help improve the program.
