Breakout! is a clone of Arkanoid.It is a multi-language (currently English and German, depending on User's preferences) 3D-Breakout clone with little in-game manual.In this game you must remove all the blocks to get the highest score, you can move the camera as well for easier gameplay.

This homebrew was participated in NEO Compo 2010.

Installation

  1. Download and extract file
  2. Copy it to the root directory of the card

Additional Hints: If you want Highscores to be saved, you have to create a /data/breakout folder on your flash card.

User guide

By destroying the blocks yellow objects that fall to catch them with the shovel, shall have the following effects:

Yellow Ball: When grab the shovel will grow. Red ball: It has the opposite effect than the yellow, since the catch, the size of the blade decreases. Green Ball: A life. Black Ball: The ball will stick to the blade to deliver them when appropriate. Blue Ball: The speed with which they move the ball increase.

Controls

Stylus - Full Control of the application, although you can use the buttons

D-Pad - Move the blade

R Trigger + A / B / Y / X - Move the camera

Start - Pause

You can rotate the Game freely by pressing R + (A,B,X,Y) while playing.

Compatibility

Works on FlashCard DSTT / TTDS with Firmware 1.17.
