This is a homebrew remake of Back to Nature (also known as Frog!), an early PETSCII-based Commodore 64 games released in the 80s.

The game is available for the Gameboy and 3DS.

Installation

Available in CIA format for the Nintendo 3DS virtual console.

Install the .cia file with a title manager of your choice.

User guide

Your role is to catch the beetles by hiding in the skin of a frog. Catching a fly increases your energy by 5 calories, but each jump results in a loss of 1 calorie (You starts from 100 calories). The number of jumps and catches of beetles is randomly generated with each attempt. Good luck and don’t sit long in front of the machine, prefer heading to nature. I also only sat here for half a day until the game was done.

Controls

Select - Start game

Left/B - Jump

Up/A - Jump higher
