VBA PSP is the first Game Boy Advance emulator on the PSP made by 499. The latest official release is v0.03, which however is generally perceived as v0.04.

Installation

For Firmware 1.50:

After installing it with PBP Easy Installer, rename the folders to vbapsp and vbapsp% in /PSP/GAME/.

Copy EBOOT.PBP to the /PSP/GAME/vbapsp/ directory.

Copy the rom file renamed to rom.gba to the vbapsp folder.

Note: You can only store one rom at a time and cannot be over 16mb in size.

User guide

CPU clock can be set by default, you may find it slower than GBAPSP however.

Controls

R-Trigger/L-Trigger/Select/Start - Same as GBA

Circle - GBA A button

Cross - GBA B button

Analog Up/Down - Change CPU speed

Triangle - Increase frame skip value

Square - Decrease fram skip value

Known issues

As with GBAPSP, it's a level of moving rather than playing, which is more suitable for games that will not be affected by the running speed, such as novel games.
