Rockbot is an open-source, SDL library based, game engine to replicate old style games like Megaman. It is a homebrew platformer made in the spirit of capcom’s classic Megaman (Rockman in Japan) game series (1-6 and 9-10), that have original storyline and graphics, besides an editor where the user can edit their own stage and enemies.

The game itself is made with SDL library and ported to Linux, Windows, Playstation 2 and PSP. The latest release for the Nintendo DS port was version 0.1 beta 6 (abandoned).

It is a platform game with enemies, somersaults and a powerful boss at the end of each scene, which you can obtain weapon from and advance to the next stage.

There are 8 bosses to beat with the theme of rock-paper-scissors (a power that conquers the other power).
